Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 pack of puff pastry, from the refrigerated section
- 3 stalk(s) leeks
- 4 garlic cloves
- some olive oil
- 150 g cream cheese with herbs
- 50 g cheese (old Gouda)
- pepper
- Herbs, frozen or fresh
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Place the puff pastry with the baking paper on a baking sheet. Trim the leek and slice into rings. Peel the garlic. Heat the olive oil in a pan. Sauté the leek and whole garlic cloves until the vegetables are nicely browned. Season the herb cream cheese with freshly ground pepper, stir in the herbs, and spread the cream cheese evenly over the puff pastry. Spread the leek and garlic mixture on top. Grate the cheese and sprinkle it over the leek and garlic mixture. Fold the outer edges of the puff pastry upwards slightly to form a rim. Bake the leek and garlic pie at 200°C for 15-20 minutes, until the pastry has risen and is nicely browned. Delicious cold or warm. Served with a salad, it makes a filling dinner for two.
