Cheese Sticks Made from Puff Pastry

The perfect cheese sticks made from puff pastry recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Packg. Fresh puff pastry
  • 100 g Grated Gouda or other
  • 100 Salt
  • 100 Pepper, paprika or caraway seeds
  • 100 Flour
  • 1 Egg yolk
  1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Rasp cheese. Whisk the egg yolk with 2 tbsp. Brush the dough with the egg yolk and season with a little salt and pepper (depending on your taste with chilli flakes or paprika), sprinkle cheese on top.
  2. Beat the dough and roll it over lightly with the roller. Then brush with the rest of the egg yolk and put in there. Cut and twist 1.5 cm wide strips.
  3. Place the sticks on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake for 15 minutes.
