Puff pastry snails

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pkt. puff pastry (refrigerated section)
  • 100 g cooked ham
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Garlic granules
  • chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Unroll the puff pastry, spread with sour cream, and season to taste. Dice the ham and spread it on the sour cream along with the cheese. Roll the puff pastry tightly from the wide side (it works best if the whole thing is placed on a kitchen towel) and cut into finger-thick slices. Place these on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 25-30 minutes. The snails are easy to prepare in advance and also taste great cold. Serve with a cool glass of white wine and a garlic dip.
