Pumpkin dessert with mascarpone sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 50 g butter
  • 100 g sugar, brown
  • 250 g pumpkin flesh, cut into small pieces
  • 2 apples, chopped
  • 100 g walnuts
  • ½ lemon(s), the juice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 150 g mascarpone
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 2 tsp honey, liquid
  • some mint, for decoration

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Refined and quick to prepare

For the sauce, combine the mascarpone, vanilla sugar, and honey and chill. Melt the butter in a pan, add the sugar, and let it melt for 20 seconds. Stir in the pumpkin and sauté. Then stir in the apples, walnuts, and cinnamon and sauté for another 2-3 minutes. Season with lemon juice. Serve warm with the mascarpone sauce (garnish with a mint leaf).
