Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg pumpkin flesh
  • ¾ tsp cinnamon, ground
  • ½ tsp ginger, finely chopped
  • ¼ tsp clove powder
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg, grated
  • 6 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 kg gelling sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Cut the pumpkin flesh into cubes and grind it through the fine disk of a meat grinder. Sauté the puree in a saucepan with a little water for about 10 minutes. Then stir the cinnamon, ginger, clove powder, nutmeg, and lemon juice into the pumpkin mixture. Sprinkle in the gelling sugar and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil gently for about 5 minutes, then pour into hot, clean jars and seal immediately.
