Pumpkin Pie Spice

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 parts cinnamon powder
  • 1 part nutmeg, freshly grated
  • 1 part clove powder
  • 1 part ginger powder
  • 1 part allspice powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

If you have allspice berries, first grind them in a mortar and pestle until they become a fine powder. Then add the other ingredients (cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger). Once everything is well blended and a fine powder has formed, you can season it to taste by adding a little to a cup of warm milk. You’ll need to find the strength and spice that suits you best, so experiment a bit. It tastes great in warm drinks and yogurt. You can also make a large batch and store it in a regular spice jar.
