Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cake (marble cake)
  • some rum flavor
  • 1 tbsp carbonated mineral water
  • 1 tbsp jam (strawberry)
  • n. B. dark chocolate coating
  • 1 pkt. shortcrust pastry from the refrigerated section

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Quick, easy, inexpensive, and delicious. Also suitable for rum balls

Crumble the marble cake into a bowl and mix it with the rum flavoring, jam, and mineral water using a hand mixer. Roll out the shortcrust pastry and cut out 4 round circles using a champagne glass, then bake in the oven according to the package instructions. Now form mountains out of the cake mixture and place them on the cooled shortcrust pastry circles. Brush with chocolate coating and serve. Tip: You can also make wonderful rum balls from the dough; simply form balls of any size and roll them in chocolate shavings. Shortcrust pastry is then unnecessary.
