Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 250 g wheat flour, type 405
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 125 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • Oil for frying
  • 50 g sugar, for turning
  • 1 pack of vanilla sugar, for coating

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Mix the quark with eggs, sugar, and vanilla sugar. Combine the flour, salt, and baking powder and stir into the quark until a tough dough forms. Heat the oil. Using teaspoons, shape the dough into small balls, drop them into the oil, and fry until golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper. Mix the sugar and vanilla sugar together and roll the still-warm quark balls in the mixture. Serve immediately.
