Quark balls with raisins

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 500 g quark
  • 250 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 packets of baking powder
  • 1 handful of raisins
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Mix the first seven ingredients with a mixer, then let the batter rest for ten minutes. Heat the oil in a deep fryer, adding a tablespoon of batter at a time. Fry the balls until golden brown, but do not fry more than four at a time. Drain on kitchen paper.
