Quark casserole with apples

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 3 eggs
  • 125 g sugar
  • 500 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 75 g semolina
  • 500 g apples
  • Margarine, for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Ideal for summer

Beat the eggs and sugar until frothy, then stir in the quark and salt. Combine the baking powder and semolina and whisk into the quark mixture. Wash, peel, quarter, core, and thinly slice the apples, and add them to the quark mixture. Grease a baking dish. Pour the quark mixture into the dish. Bake on the lowest rack at 180°C fan/convection oven (200°C top/bottom heat) for 40 minutes. Serve with cold vanilla sauce.
