Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 m.-sized eggs, separated
- 125 ml cream
- 250 g low-fat curd cheese
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 lemon(s), juice and grated zest
- 400 g sour cherries, drained from the jar
- 30 g walnuts, chopped
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder

Whisk the egg whites and cream separately until stiff peaks form. Combine the quark with the egg yolks, sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Fold in the beaten egg whites and cream. Layer the cherries, walnuts, and quark cream in a bowl, then dust the dessert with cocoa powder. Cover and refrigerate for about 5 hours.
