Quark dessert with mango and lemon

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 2 mangoes, ripe
  • 1 organic lemon(s), juice and grated peel
  • 2 tbsp sugar, more if needed
  • 500 g quark, 20%
  • 250 ml whipped cream or Cremefine
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pack of cream stiffener
  • 1 pack of chocolate shavings

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

super refreshing for hot days

Peel the mangoes and remove the flesh from the stone. Puree the flesh with the sugar and lemon juice. Set aside. Now whip the cream with the vanilla sugar and cream stiffener until stiff. Mix the quark with the grated lemon zest and carefully fold in the stiffly whipped cream. Alternately fill a large bowl or dessert glasses/bowls with the pureed mango and the quark mixture. Start with the puree and end with the quark mixture. Finally, sprinkle with chocolate shavings. Chill for 1-2 hours before eating. It can also be eaten straight away. Super refreshing for hot days. But can also be enjoyed on colder days.
