Quick alternative to the Franconian original – with quark and grainy cream cheese

Combine the quark and cream cheese with a generous splash of cream in a large bowl and stir until smooth and well combined. Then season with a little white vinegar, a few dashes of liquid sweetener, and salt and pepper to taste. Finally, peel and finely chop the onions. Fold two of them into the quark, and garnish with the other onion and the finely chopped chives. This goes best with fresh farmhouse bread and a cold beer!
