Quark rice dish to fall in love with

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 100 g rice pudding
  • 500 ml milk
  • 80 g sugar
  • 10 g vanilla pudding powder
  • 250 g quark
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Wash the rice pudding and drain. Bring the milk to a boil in a saucepan, remove from the heat, and stir in the rice. Return to the stove and let the rice swell completely over low heat, stirring occasionally. Add the sugar and the vanilla pudding powder mixed with a little milk. Mix in the quark and heat everything up again, stirring constantly. Separate the eggs. Stir the egg yolks into the mixture, removing from the heat first. Finally, beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form and fold into the quark and rice mixture. Do not return to the boil. Serve with fruit compote.
