Quark rolls with raisins

Ingredients for 16 servings:

  • 200 ml water, warm
  • 50 g butter
  • 500 g spelt flour (wholemeal flour)
  • 100 g raisins
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • 250 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 4 tbsp honey (liquid)
  • possibly milk or water for brushing

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

made from wholemeal spelt flour

Combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add lukewarm water, butter, quark, honey, and raisins. Knead until smooth. Cover the dough and let it rest in a warm place for about 30 minutes. Divide into 16 pieces and form rolls. Place the rolls on a baking sheet, cover, and let it rest in a warm place for about 15 minutes. Brush with milk/water. Preheat oven and bake for about 25 minutes at 180°C (fan oven).
