Ingredients
 

  • 125 g Quark
  • 40 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 60 g Melted butter
  • 150 g Sifted flour
  • 3 Eggs
  • Lemon flavor or peel
  • 1 Cup Milk

Instructions
 

  • Mix the quark with the melted butter. Then stir in the sugar, the grated zest of a lemon or flavor, the flour and the milk. Separate the eggs and add the egg yolks to the curd mixture. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold carefully into the dough.
  • Heat up the waffle iron and bake golden brown waffles one after the other. Sprinkle the finished hot waffles with powdered sugar. Whipped cream tastes good with it
