Quick and Tasty Marble Cake

The perfect quick and tasty marble cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 130 g Margarine
  • 130 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 250 g Flour
  • 2 tsp Cocoa powder
  • 10 tbsp Milk
  • 3 piece Free range eggs
  1. Mix the sugar, margarine and vanilla sugar until creamy. Then beat the eggs underneath.
  1. Add flour and baking powder. Stir 5 tablespoons of milk into the batter.
  1. Divide the dough in half. Now put the cocoa powder in one half and stir it (you can add a small cup of cooled espresso if you want to add a coffee note)
  1. Grease the box form with margarine. First pour in the light dough, because spread the dark dough over it. Using a fork, draw a pattern through the dough in a spiral.
  1. Bake at 175 degrees for one hour. Then let cool on a rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
