Quick Apple Butter Cake with Cinnamon

Ingredients
 

For the dough:

  • 500 g Wheat flour
  • 1,5 packets Baking powder
  • 125 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 tsp Cinammon
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 100 ml Vegetable oil
  • 1 Egg size M.
  • 250 g Low fat quark

For covering:

  • 4 Apples
  • 100 g Butter
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 80 g Flaked almonds

Aside from that:

  • Some fat and flour for the tray
  • Some flour to roll out

Instructions
 

  • For the dough, mix the flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt and cinnamon in a mixing bowl. Add the milk, oil, the egg and the low-fat quark. Knead all ingredients into a smooth dough. Grease a baking sheet and sprinkle with a little flour. Roll out the dough evenly on top.
  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees (top and bottom heat). For the topping, peel and core the apples and cut into thin wedges. Spread on the dough. Make small hollows in the dough between the apples and spread the butter in flakes. Sprinkle everything evenly with sugar and flaked almonds. Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, until the cake is nicely browned. Let cool, cut into pieces and serve.

Notes

Can also be frozen in portions, if you want, you can serve it with whipped cream with cinnamon or vanilla sugar.
