Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 apples
  • e.g. Confectionery (dominoes or marzipan potatoes or small marzipan breads)
  • e.g. dessert sauce (vanilla flavor) or vanilla ice cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

super easy and Christmassy delicious!

Decapitate the apples and remove the cores. Fill with about three dominoes, marzipan potatoes, or a small marzipan loaf, replace the lid, and bake in a casserole dish at 220°C for about 40 minutes. Serve with vanilla sauce or vanilla ice cream. Also delicious with a shot of amaretto or eggnog.
