Quick cabbage spaetzle

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g Spätzle, homemade or bought
  • 1 can sauerkraut, small
  • 100 g bacon, finely diced
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

with sauerkraut and bacon

Brown the bacon in a little butter in a large pan. Add the sauerkraut and a little water and simmer for a few minutes. Then add the spaetzle and cook for another 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Finally, season with salt and pepper. Tip: If you don’t make the spaetzle yourself, buy fresh ones from the refrigerated section.
