Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 ml water, warm
  • ½ cube of yeast, fresh or 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 500 g wholemeal flour of your choice (wheat, spelt, rye or mixed)
  • 150 g seeds of your choice (e.g. linseed, sesame, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds or mixed)
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Flour and grain varieties variable

Pour warm water into a bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and mix everything with a spatula or an electric mixer fitted with a dough hook. If using fresh yeast, dissolve it in the water first and then add the other ingredients. Cover and let rest for half an hour, then bake in a loaf pan at 180 degrees Celsius for about an hour. Depending on your taste, you can sprinkle the dough with seeds or oats. These should be lightly pressed down with a spatula.
