Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g onion(s)
  • 125 g bacon or ham, diced
  • 3 eggs
  • 100 g flour
  • 150 g cheese, grated
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 125 ml whipped cream
  • salt and pepper
  • marjoram

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

It’s best to chop onions in a food processor. Brown ham or bacon cubes in oil in a pan, add the diced onion, stir, and sauté for about 10 minutes until translucent. In a bowl, combine the eggs with the flour, heavy cream, and cheese with a wooden spoon. Add the hot onions and bacon and season. Be careful with the salt, as the bacon and cheese are already salty. Pour the mixture into a tart or cheesecake dish and bake at 185 degrees Celsius for about 45-50 minutes.
