Quick Rice Patties

The perfect quick rice patties recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

approx. 9-10 pieces

  • 500 gr Cooked rice
  • 175 ml Vegetable broth
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Dried herbs
  • Flour
  1. Put the rice in a large bowl (I use either jasmine or basmati rice and prepare it the day before).
  1. Add the clear broth with the soy sauce and stir. Season to taste with the spices. Now add the flour little by little so that the rice sticks to it (unfortunately I can’t give a quantity, as I stir in the flour according to feeling until I have a mass that can be shaped).
  1. Let the agarine get hot in a pan. Shape the mixture into small patties, preferably with 2 tablespoons, place in the hot fat and press down a little. Fry on both sides until crispy.
