Quick roasted sausage with paprika and curry

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 1 bell pepper(s), red
  • 1 bell pepper(s), yellow
  • 5 grilled sausages (Thuringian grilled sausages)
  • 300 ml tomato ketchup
  • 100 ml water
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • ½ tsp sweet paprika powder
  • 1 pinch of chili powder
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for frying
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Slice the sausages, removing the skin if necessary. Wash the bell peppers and finely slice them. Peel and finely dice the onion. Heat a pan, add the oil, and fry the diced bell peppers and onion. Transfer to a bowl and fry the sausages thoroughly in the same pan. It’s okay if they’re lightly browned and browned. Return the bell peppers and onions to the pan. Season with curry (amount to taste), paprika, chili, and Worcestershire sauce. Then add tomato ketchup and water, mix well, and simmer on low heat for a few minutes. This goes perfectly with delicious rice or simply a baguette.
