Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 2 trout fillets, smoked, (1 pack)
- 100 g cream cheese
- 100 g butter
- Pepper, coarsely ground
- Salt
- ½ lemon(s), untreated, zest and juice
- possibly herbs

ideal with salad and toast or as an evening treat
Using a fork or hand blender, combine the room-temperature butter with the cream cheese and trout fillets until the fish pieces are no longer recognizable. Add salt, pepper, lemon zest, and lemon juice, and mix well. Transfer everything to a small bowl and refrigerate. If you like, you can also add dill, tarragon, or simply chives beforehand. Another variation can be made with tuna. This simple dip is especially delicious spread on salad on toast, or it makes a quick and delicious dinner.
