Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 large radish(s), fresh
  • 1 tsp, heaped salt
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • ½ tsp white pepper
  • 3 tbsp oil or cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Clean and thinly peel the radish. Then coarsely grate it. Sprinkle the grated radish with 1 heaped teaspoon of salt and let it draw its juices for 15 minutes. Mix a marinade from vinegar, sugar, pepper, and oil or cream. Gently squeeze the juice from the radish salad and discard the juice. Mix the radish and marinade thoroughly and season to taste. Let it marinate for a while.
