Raspberry nectar

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1,700 g raspberries
  • 200 g sugar
  • 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 3 g preserving aid

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash bottles thoroughly, clean caps, and boil if possible. Sort raspberries (only wash if absolutely necessary), bring to a boil in a large pot, and simmer gently for at least 30 minutes. Strain through a food mill (this separates the seeds from the juice). Bring the juice to a boil again. Stir in sugar and vanilla sugar. Season to taste, add sweetener if desired. Sprinkle with fermentation aid and stir in. Bottle while still hot and seal immediately. Yields approximately 1.5 liters of nectar.
