Raspberry parfait: the ingredients for the delicious dessert

The list of ingredients for a simple raspberry parfait is manageable. Our quantities give a dessert for six people.

  • You need 450 g of raspberries for this. Fresh berries are just as good as raspberries from the freezer.
  • Also, weigh out 150g of sugar.
  • You also need 750 g of whipped cream and a pinch of salt for the parfait.
  • Prepare a loaf tin and cling film for freezing.

It’s that easy to prepare the raspberry parfait

Once you have the ingredients and utensils, you can start preparing.

  • Put a few raspberries aside for decoration later and cook the rest with the sugar for about three minutes.
  • Then remove the pot from the hotplate.
  • While the raspberries are cooling, whip the cream with a pinch of salt until stiff.
  • Strain the cooled raspberries and fold the whipped cream into the puree.
  • Line the loaf tin with cling film and fill in the creamy raspberry mixture.
  • Cover the parfait with cling film and place in the freezer for at least 4 hours, preferably 6 hours.
  • When the dessert is half frozen, use the cling film to lift it out of the mold. Then remove the foil. You can now cut the parfait into pieces, decorate with raspberries and serve.
