Red berry compote with tonka bean

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1 jar sour cherries
  • 300 ml grape juice, red
  • 1 pack of pudding powder (vanilla pudding powder)
  • 750 g berries, mixed (wild berries), frozen
  • Cinnamon powder
  • Tonka bean(s), grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

quick to make and super tasty

Drain the cherries in a sieve. Collect the juice. Pour the cherry and grape juice into a large saucepan. Stir in the custard powder and heat gently. Bring to a boil briefly, then add the cherries and frozen berries. Season to taste with cinnamon and ground tonka bean.
