Red cabbage salad with sour cream

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • ¼ head of red cabbage
  • 100 g sour cream
  • Salt
  • ½ tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • Apple cider vinegar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 10 minutes

Knead the finely chopped red cabbage with about 2 tablespoons of oil, 1/2 tablespoon of sugar, and salt for 5 minutes until soft. Then mix with sour cream and a dash of apple cider vinegar and let it sit, ideally overnight. Season again before serving. Tastes delicious with grilled dishes and braised dishes.
