Red cabbage with currant jelly

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 tbsp clarified butter
  • 1 onion(s), chopped
  • 1 apple (Boskop), finely diced
  • 2 tbsp jelly (blackcurrant)
  • 4 tbsp vinegar (white wine vinegar)
  • 1 jar red cabbage, drained
  • Salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

wonderfully spicy if you prepare it the day before and warm it up

Fry the butaris, sauté the onion and apple, add the jelly and dissolve, bring to the boil with vinegar, add the red cabbage, heat and season to taste.
