Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 50 g oat flakes, fine
- e.g. water, boiling
- n. B. Red currant jelly
- some walnut kernels, crushed
- 1 pinch of cinnamon
- whipped cream, optional
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Dessert or snack
Place the finely chopped oats in a slightly wider glass. Heat the water in a kettle. Pour the boiling water over the oats in the glass. The oats should just be covered with water. Place a lid on the glass and let it steep for 5-10 minutes. Now spread some cinnamon evenly over the oats. Then add a 1.5 cm layer of red fruit compote (optional). Shell some walnuts and crush the walnuts into smaller pieces. Place these on top. Tip: If you like, add a layer of fresh cream when serving. But it’s delicious without it too.
