Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 m.-sized pear(s)
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 1 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • ¼ liter red wine
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash, dry, quarter, and core the pears. Place the pear quarters in a saucepan and sprinkle with sugar. Add the cinnamon stick and top with the red wine. Cover and simmer over moderate heat for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and let cool in the liquid. Whip the cream with the vanilla sugar and a little more sugar, if desired, until stiff. Arrange the red wine pears, garnish with the cream, and serve.
