Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 bottle of red wine
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)
  • 1 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 32 pieces of sugar cubes
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 8 cl rum

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Combine the cinnamon and vanilla with the red wine in a saucepan and let it steep for 1 hour. Then bring the red wine to a boil. Pour the egg yolks into a punch bowl and gradually whisk in some of the heated red wine, stirring constantly. Then add the rum and sugar. Top up with the rest of the red wine.
