rice salad

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 bags of rice
  • 1 large bell pepper(s), yellow
  • 1 large red bell pepper(s)
  • 1 small can/mandarin orange(s)
  • 1 jar Miracel Whip Balance, large
  • 200 g ham, cooked
  • some juice (tangerine juice)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes

suitable for a barbecue party

Cook the rice as usual. Meanwhile, dice the bell peppers and cooked ham. Add the mandarin oranges to the bowl; they’ll break up during the stirring. Add the cooked rice, stir, and let cool slightly (if you’re in a hurry, you can add the mayonnaise right away). Stir in the entire jar of mayonnaise and mix with the mandarin orange juice until light and fluffy. Reserve some of the juice, as the salad can be a bit sticky once it’s cooled. You can use it to loosen it up again. Chill, and you’re done! No seasoning necessary.
