Roasted almonds from the pan

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g almond(s), peeled
  • 125 ml water
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Bring the water, sugar, vanilla sugar, and cinnamon to a boil in a pan. Then add the almonds and stir continuously. As soon as the sugar begins to caramelize, turn the almonds over. Remove the almonds from the heat immediately if the sugar sticks to them and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to dry. After about 5 minutes, the sugar will be hard and the almonds are ready to eat.
