Roasted Almonds
The perfect roasted almonds recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 200 g Sweet almond
- 100 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 100 ml Water
- 0,5 tsp Cinnamon
- Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Bring the water, sugar, vanilla sugar and cinnamon to the boil in a pan.
- Add the almonds, turn down the temperature but continue to cook and stir constantly. Over time, the sugar becomes dry and crumbly and sticks to the almonds.
- Keep stirring until the sugar melts again and the almonds are shiny. Be careful not to burn the almonds.
- Now distribute the almonds on the baking paper so that they lie as individually as possible (this does not quite work). After cooling, separate the almonds that are still sticking together and pack them airtight, otherwise they will become sticky.
