strongly Asian-inspired

Remove the beef fillet from the refrigerator at least half an hour before preparation. It should be at room temperature when used. Once all the ingredients are ready, preheat the oven to 80°C fan/convection oven. Cook the jasmine rice according to the instructions. Heat a steak pan with a little olive oil and sear the steaks thoroughly. If you want the ideal preparation and are the proud owner of a grill with a sizzle zone, grill the steaks on this. Then place the meat on a plate and rub it generously with the halved garlic, season with pepper, salt, and thyme on both sides, and place it in the oven to finish cooking. Now sear the turkey fillet in the same pan. Preheat deep plates in the oven. Heat a large pan with olive oil and sear all the vegetables thoroughly. Just before the end, add the garlic and season with turmeric, curry powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to taste. Pour the soy sauce and fish sauce over the steaks and let everything sizzle vigorously for another minute. Now add the coconut milk and mix well. Then add the turkey fillet and bananas and mix gently. Cover the pan and let everything simmer for 5 minutes. Then, be sure to taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary. Remove the beef fillets from the oven and slice thinly. The meat should now be perfectly medium. Serve a portion of jasmine rice on the preheated plates, spoon some of the fillet mixture over it, arrange a few slices of the beef fillet on top, garnish with basil leaves, and serve immediately.
