Roe Onion Meat

The perfect roe onion meat recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 700 g Deer meat fresh
  • 700 g Vegetable onion
  • 1 liter Vegetable broth
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Lard
  1. Heat the lard and add the deer pieces.
  2. Sear on both sides and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the chopped vegetable onions and now only add the broth.
  4. Steam softly on a lower setting for about 15 minutes (do not leave too long as the venison can dry out very quickly).
  5. Serve with pasta or other side dishes. A simple and very quick meal – when time is tight.
