Rolled ferryman schnitzel

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 large schnitzels
  • 1 large onion(s), finely chopped
  • 1 small jar horseradish, finely chopped
  • 1 small jar of cucumber(s) (chili cucumbers or regular pickled cucumbers)
  • salt and pepper
  • Flour
  • 1 egg(s)
  • Breadcrumbs
  • some oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Pound the schnitzels and season with salt and pepper. Then brush one side of the meat with horseradish and top with the onions and chili pickles. Finally, roll up the schnitzels and coat them in flour, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs. Fry them in a pan at low heat for about 20 minutes. We serve them with fried potatoes.
