Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 1 ½ kg pork (fresh pork belly without rind)
- 8 slice(s) bacon, lean
- salt and pepper
- Mustard, ketchup for spreading
- 6 cloves garlic
- 1 onion(s) (vegetable onion)
- 50 g pepper
- rosemary
- Paprika powder, hot
- Thyme
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Cut the belly open so that it can be rolled up. Rub the meat with the spices and herbs, then spread with mustard and ketchup. Layer the bacon with pepperoni, onions, and crushed garlic cloves. Roll up the meat, wrap it in butcher’s netting, and skewer it. Cook on the charcoal grill for approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
