Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 8 sprigs rosemary (large branches)
  • 2 large limes
  • 200 g brown sugar
  • 300 ml water

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 15 minutes

for flavoring desserts or aperitifs

Finely grate the zest from the washed limes and squeeze out the juice (you should have about 7 tablespoons of juice). Roughly chop the rosemary sprigs. Place all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer for about 10 minutes. Let the syrup cool for several hours, preferably overnight. Strain, bottle, and refrigerate until ready to use.
