Rösti – Schnitzel – Pan

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg schnitzel meat, thinly sliced
  • 3 cups of crème fraîche
  • 3 cups of sweet cream
  • 2 bags of ready-made onion soup mix
  • 3 bags of ready-made Rösti mix
  • 400 g cheese (Gouda), grated
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Line a roasting pan or a large casserole dish with the schnitzels and season with salt and pepper. Combine the crème fraîche, cream, and onion soup and pour over the schnitzels. Crumble the rösti mixture, add it to the mixture, and sprinkle with grated Gouda cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for about 1 hour.
