Rösti with Salmon & Créme Fraîch
The perfect rösti with salmon & créme fraîch recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Dough hash browns:
- 500 g Peeled waxy potatoes
- 2 Pc. Spring onions fresh, cut
- 2 tablespoon Flour
- 0,5 teaspoon Baking powder
- 2 Pc. Egg whisked
- Coarse salt
- Black pepper from the mill
fry with:
- Rapeseed oil
Topping on hash browns:
- 150 g Creme fraiche Cheese
- 1 bunch Freshly chopped chives
Garnish :
- 300 g Salmon (salmon)
- Wash potatoes under cold water. Drain, rub dry with kitchen paper. Grate roughly into a bowl.
- Add eggs, flour, baking powder + spring onion to the dough, season.
- Put a little oil in a hot pan, then use a vegetable spoon to bake small portions of the batter until golden. Don’t forget to turn for 5-7 minutes. Mixture makes about 16 pieces. After baking on kitchen paper, dab off the excess oil.
Fry salmon:
- Heat the pan and add a little oil to the pan.
- Sear the salmon on the skin side, turn, then finish cooking over low heat.
- Serve with the sour cream in a bowl. Put the chives in a plate, add a teaspoon.
