Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 125 g butter
  • 1 m.-large shallot(s)
  • 2 tsp mustard, grainy
  • 1 tsp brandy
  • 1 tbsp herbs, frozen (8 herb mix)
  • 2 pinch(s) salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch(s) paprika powder
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 medium-sized rump steaks

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

First, soften the butter, then place it in a bowl. Finely dice the shallot. Mix the butter with the small onion, mustard, brandy, and herb mix. Season everything with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Pour the butter and seasoning mix onto a sheet of parchment paper and roll it into a log. Refrigerate for 20 minutes. Sear the steaks in a preheated pan for 4 minutes on each side, then season with salt and pepper. Serve with sliced ​​seasoned butter. A true meat lover’s dream.
