Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 large apples
  • 1 cup rum
  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 125 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Chop the apples into small pieces and let them soak in a cup of rum for about 1 hour. Cream the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and eggs until fluffy. Fold the flour, baking powder, nuts, cocoa, and cinnamon into the batter. Finally, fold in the soaked apples. Bake the batter in a round tart pan at 175°C for 60 minutes.
