  • 80 g flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 120 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 100 ml oil
  • 100 ml milk
  • 5 drops butter-vanilla flavoring
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 150 g condensed milk, sweetened, e.g. Milchmädchen
  • 150 g biscuits (Russian bread)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Crumble the Russian bread, e.g., in a freezer bag using a rolling pin. Mix the flour and baking powder well. Add the Russian bread, sugar, vanilla sugar, and butter vanilla flavoring. Mix everything together. Add the eggs, oil, and milk and mix everything well. Pour the batter into a springform pan and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes. Mix together the milk and sour cream and chill. After baking, I scrape or cut off the dark edges and use them as a garnish. Then spread the cream on the warm cake, repeating this process several times until all the cream is used up. Let the cake cool.
