Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g rye flour
  • 225 g sourdough (bought or homemade)
  • 10 g yeast
  • 1 tbsp salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 10 minutes

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and knead with a little water. Continue adding enough water until the dough comes away from your fingers (about 1/4 liter in total). Cover the bowl with a cloth and let the dough rise for about 2 hours; it will increase in volume considerably. Place in a greased pan and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 40-45 minutes.
