Rye rolls with baking powder

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g rye flour, type 997
  • 200 g wheat flour, type 812
  • 630 g water
  • 1.2 packs of baking powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

For 10 rolls

Thoroughly mix the flour, water, and baking powder. Let the dough rest for 15 minutes. Preheat the oven to 230°C (conventional) or 210°C (fan/convection). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a large spoon or small ladle, place 10 equal portions of dough onto the baking sheet. Bake on the middle rack for 45 minutes. After baking, place the hot rolls on a wire rack to allow steam to escape from all sides.
