Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 pack of toast bread
  • 500 g minced meat
  • 1 ½ cans pineapple slices, drained
  • 2 packs of processed cheese slices
  • 1 egg(s)
  • e.g. breadcrumbs
  • Herbs of your choice
  • salt and pepper
  • Spice(s) of your choice
  • 1 dashes oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Minced meat on toast with pineapple and cheese

Place the minced meat in a bowl. Mix with the egg, breadcrumbs (to taste), herbs, and spices, and season to taste. Place the slices of toast on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Cut the minced meat into patties large enough to fit the slices of toast and fry in a pan with a little oil. Place the patties on the toast, top with the pineapple, and finally, top with the cheese on top of the pineapple. Bake everything in the oven at 180°C (fan oven) until golden brown. Bake until the desired browning is achieved. Remove from the oven and serve. Serve with a leaf salad or a mixed salad.
